Polisi yaunda kamati vifo vya watu wawili Zanzibar

Unguja. Jeshi la Polisi Zanzibar limesema imeundwa kamati huru kuchunguza kiini cha tukio lililosababisha vifo vya watu wawili na kujeruhi wanafunzi wawili wa Shule ya Msingi Kidoti kujeruhiwa.

Waliofariki dunia ni Msina Sharif (39) na msaidizi wake Abdala Bakari (28) huku waliojeruhiwa ni Mohamed Issa (10) na Hamza Abdalla Abasi (10) wote wanafunzi wa shule ya msingi Kidoti.

Tukio hilo lilitokea Novemba 9, 2024 saa 12:00 asubuhi eneo la Kidoti, Mkoa wa Kaskazini Unguja.

Taarifa iliyotolewa leo Jumapili Novemba 10, 2024 na Naibu Mkurugenzi wa Upelelezi Makosa ya Jinai Zanzibar, Zubeir Chembera inaeleza kuwa, watu hao wamefariki dunia baada ya gari kugonga mti lakini uchunguzi zaidi unaendelea kubaini kiini cha vifo hivyo.

“Tunautaarifu umma kufuatia tukio hilo la kusikitisha, imeundwa tume huru ya uchunguzi ili kufanya uchunguzi wa haraka kujua kiini cha tukio hilo ikiwa ni pamoja na sababu ya gari hilo kukimbia na magari mengine kushambulia askari na askari kufyatua risasi baada ya uchunguzi kukamilika umma utajulishwa,” amesema Chembera.

Amesema siku ya tukio askari polisi wakiwa kwenye operesheni maalumu Wilaya ya Kaskazini A Kijiji cha Kidoti, walikutana na gari la mizigo aina ya Toyota Dyana bila kuwa na namba usajili.

Chembera amesema polisi walitia shaka gari hilo na kulisimamisha ili kulifanyia upekuzi lakini halikusimama badala yake wakaongeza mwendo.

Amesema gari lilipoteza mwelekeo na kugonga mti na kusababisha dereva wa gari hilo Msina Sharif na msaidizi wake Abdala Bakari kupoteza maisha.

Amesema watu wawili waliokuwa wakitembea kwa miguu waligongwa wakati gari lilipopoteza mwelekeo na kugonga mti, wamelazwa katika Hospitali ya Kivunge kwa matibabu.
