Unguja Zanzibar:
Zanzibar President Hussein Mwinyi has appointed Charles Hillary as the new Zanzibar Government Chief Spokesperson.
He will also continue to serve as the director of Presidential Communications on top of his new portifolio a post that he has held since his appointment in December 2021.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Secretary of the Zanzibar Revolutionary Government Zena Said the appointment is with immediate effect.
Mr Hillary a carrier journalist, is a former news anchor at different media houses including the BBC and most recently Azam Media.
