Bolt diversifies into courier delivery services in Tanzania

Dar es Salaam. An on-demand mobility company, Bolt, at the weekend launched its new courier delivery service as it expands its service offerings and tap into the growing logistics and delivery landscape across Tanzania.

Known as Bolt Send, the new service is currently available in Dar es Salaam, the company said at the weekend.

“With a user-friendly interface integrated into the existing ride-hailing app, customers can now seamlessly send packages of various sizes to any destination within Dar es Salaam,” said the General Manager Dimmy Kanyankole. 

The service, he said, was designed to cater to a wide range of delivery needs, from urgent business documents to personal items, ensuring that every delivery is handled with the utmost care and professionalism.

The service is also expected to be boost for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across Tanzania. 

“The launch of our courier delivery service marks a significant step forward in our mission to simplify and enhance the daily lives of our customers.
