11 days after the Precision Air plane crash in Tanzania, which killed 19 people, the Tanzania Airlines (ATCL) plane failed to land at Bukoba airport in Kagera region, due to bad weather.
According to Mwananchi Digital, Director of the Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA), Hamza Johari has confirmed that and the plane had to return to Mwanza airport and land safely.
Member of Parliament for Special Seats, Neema Lugangira, who was on the plane, has written on her Twitter account explaining the incident, and asking the Government to take seriously the issue of Bukoba airport.

On November 6, 2022, a Precision Air plane, carrying 43 people, crashed in Lake Victoria, a few meters from Bukoba airport, killing 19 people, while 24 survived.
